Job Description:
The Student Research Assistant (RA) positions in the DSA-REU program will engage in research under the guidance of DSA faculty members. The specific tasks and workload will be arranged by the supervising professor, which may include but are not limited to:
1) Participate in research training, project activities, and meetings.
2) Adhere to research protocols and ethical guidelines.
3) Complete deliverables (e.g., progress reports, presentations, publications).
4) Attend meetings and communicate regularly with the faculty mentor.
1. UG students in Year 2 or above are given priority. Year 1 students may apply if they show strong necessary background knowledge and motivation. For Year 3 and 4 students, only DSA students will be considered.
2. A minimum Cumulative Grade Average (CGA) of 3.0 (or equivalent) is recommended.
3. Strong programming skills and familiarity with data analysis or machine learning tools.
4. Ability to learn independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a research team.
